The Crab Apple Tree

A drawer
in a dresser
half open:
a silver box,
two false eye lashes.

A stream gurgles
in a low place of the forest

a lone crab apple tree scratches the air.

....really this was just to say hello, my friend, I've been too busy lately and too out of touch with the very people that help me feel tethered...so, yeah, came by to say hi....but stumbled on this gem of yours in the process.....I'm glad I did.....you are a treasure trove, Jonathan.......

hug and happy holidays for you my friend,
