Very bewitching, Jonathan and oh so magical~Jan
Thank you Jan. I'm glad you like this one.
thanks, Jonathan, as always.......so timely......just an hour ago was reading about how our thoughts create (and reinforce) our neuropathways, which created a cognitive bias in our vision, how we see, what we see, and what we dont see in life, in people, in our choices, etc......and thus directly affects our life's trajectory......to change the trajectory, we change the thoughts, which create new neuropathways, which changes our vision, and our life's trajectory.....this was so timely for me, Jonathan, and this thought has been coming at me from all directions lately.......so glad you chimed in.......your "chiming" is always so worthwhile. thanks, as always my friend, Liz ~*
Thank you Liz. I have been thinking along similar lines but I couldn't have expressed it as clearly as you have done. Thank you.
According to many of the texts I read about spells (when I was younger) they were all about focusing the thoughts. The more complex the ritual the more you were forced into disciplined focused thinking and thus the more likely the desired outcome. Of course now I see it mostly as being much as Liz says - it's about reinforcing thoughts which in turn shape what we see and how we interact with the world.
I'm with you, Kim. Thank you for lifting the spirits.
Very nice, Jonathan; I especially appreciate the (un)intended? double meaning of "sea": Coming as it does at the beginning of the poem gives it another dimension vis-a-vis its subject.
Thank you, Vassilis. Unintended. Your reading improves the poem for me. Thanks again.
