The Pirate Ship

The inverted pirate ship sails beneath the countless ripples.
Black lines distort and twist in solid water where quartz pink glazes the potential for creatures from the deep to rise up, break the surface and adorn the pages of the mystery annuals. The stuff of legends, TV documentaries and T-shirts. This water is a ladder made of undulating rungs waiting for us to climb the silvery surface. But come now, let us turn ourselves the right way about and take the blue ladder that escapes along a gaseous bridge that glows above the trees. Let’s leave the water, the rings to continue on through greenish imaginings.

    1. Thank you, Susan. But please don't try this particular theory out. I'm not sure it'll hold up.
