A Poem That Comes In Any Colour You Like

Gold patterns in a tin.
Marvellous colours,
cellophane waves,
a glowing shading
a tree of silhouettes.

A silent blue stretch in the dark,
a standing part cylindrical.

The shadowy waves waiting.

Cotton to cotton, the lines
spin gold through
the drum of this room.
