Toads

2 comments:

  1. ‘Toads’ was the second poem by Larkin that I ever read. The first, as regular readers of my own blog will no doubt be fed up hearing, was ‘Mr. Bleaney’, the first poem that I really connected to: no daffodils, no babbling brooks, no vagabonds. I’ve been a huge fan ever since. William Michaelian recommended your site and I see another couple of my friends have got here before me. I’m now a follower. Lead on, Macduff.

  2. Great to have you on board. I must go and read 'Mr Bleaney'. I have visited your blog in the past and very much enjoyed your writing. Thanks again, Jim.
